This is our first post.  We’re so excited that we’re actually here. So, hello!

We are Splrg, your REAL-TIME place for the best deals, sales and value-add tips that you can find on all the trendiest and must-have fashion, home, kids and wine items.  They’re hiding out there in the store universe and we will find them for you.

We’re doing a lot of work, but we’ll need you to help.  See, this site works for you, but it’s by you.  You’ll be our one-and-only splrg warrior, telling us where you splrg’d and where we should also splrg. Infectious.

As we get rolling, we’ve decided to take advantage of Twitter (’cause everyone is doing it), so you can share and “tweet” with other Splrgers. The sooner you add #splrg to your tweets, the better for all humankind!

Those tweets will be displayed as little short bits you see in the left side column on the site.  “Tweet” your real-time deal on the spot with your mobile or at home on your browser and it’ll appear in this column.

We’ll also be featuring some glossy stories as well, because we like to look at photos and, well who doesn’t? Some of the stores, businesses and products that you splrg about will be featured on the main page of the site. We’ll credit you as the source, link back to your blog, Twitter, Website, Facebook, home address - Whatever you want.  We’re launching Sprlg in Vancouver to start and we’re moving quickly.  Fast-moving.
